HV/EHV Substations & Transmission Lines Construction. Substations and Transmission Lines up to 220 KV have been getting constructed by EIEL at various places in India. As an EPC Contractor EIEL has not only accumulated inside out domain-knowledge but also been dwelling on a strong resource base in terms of machinery, tools and plants, and skilled manpower.   Small Hydel Projects. Being a company in the soil of North East, EIEL certainly has a good advantage for executing Small Hydel Projects in a well planned out way. And, as a sharp edge to this advantage, a core group of EIEL has been diligently functional to explore the possibilities of executing small hydel projects in Uttaranchal and Arunachal Pradesh.   CIVIL CONSTRUCTIONS Core competency in Civil construction has also been prevalent with EIEL. Given its long-term experience and honed expertise in varied types of Civil Work, EIEL has already done specialised designs for foundation of Equipment, Structures for Ht Towers and hangers, multi storied Building and Low Cost Housing.   ROADS EIEL had executed its first major road construction contract in the year 2008 at purbi champaran district in Bihar. When government sponsored projects for creation/enhancement of village infrastructure often encompass a substantial construction component in the area of Road and railway connectivity, EIEL was responsible for executing such prestigious projects that include the contruction of Two-Lane Roads under prime minister gramin sadak yojna (PMGSY Scheme) of Government of India. EIEL has established two world –class manufacturing units for Pre Stressed Concrete (PSC) Pole at Tejpur(Assam) and at Purulia(West Bengal) These units are manufacturing PSC Poles of different design and sizes, and equipped with Steam Curing System, Modern Pole Handling System, Testing Bench, and other testing facilities. Besides, EIEL has a plan to expand its production capacity of these factories to meet the growing market demand. The Company is gearing up too, to manufacturing various Pre Stress Concrete products in near future for increasing its product range. Overseas Projects are present in Bhutan, Nigeria and Bangladesh.
